Can sum1 explain how they work or post links to vids or explanations for them, the only thing I know is that they all exept N/A has to do with compressing air. NOS is a mix of som gasses(wich?) and their injected at some point before going into the cylinders.

my car is turbo XD

super and turbo's work on the same idea delivering more oxygen to the cyclinders

turbos use the escaping gases from the exhaust to spin a turbine which compresses gas, thats sent back to the intake

turbos have a problem with over heating because of the hot exhuast super heats them, when the glow white thats when you run away

superchargers use a pulley off the engine to compress air

theres a big debate on which is better superchargers have the take off but turbos kick in after when the engine has got going to give more boost :D

then theres intercoolers which cool the intake air which suposibly burns better?

dont know much about nos its for rice burner cars imo

Turbo's work in the same sort of way to that of superchargers except, superchargers are mechanical.. Turbos work off of airflow, in which they aren't the best from point go, good advantage is that you are able to easily increase the boost of your turbo. Superchargers create the pressure by themselves and are therefore faster off of point go.

Turbos are good coz they don't weigh much. I have a turbo :wub: if you are looking to put a turbo in your car, consider also a Intercooler, new ECU, oil catch can, some engine mods, chuck in a blow off valve, maybe a dose pipe, some new bling bling mags, chip in a new $4000 sound system, a few new injectors, a new fuel pump, new exhaust system.. and then become a Muzza and put the doof doof on your fully sik subWOOFER MATE!

go CRUISE for Some CHICKS and you're right ai bud

OH P.S. Holden Commodore (For the foreigners) VL Turbo's are the best Commodores ever made.. PANNIC rocks!

there is just 1 thing unaswered, N/A tuning, if you havent heard about it check Grand Turismo 3/4 (maby older :unsure: ). There many cars are N/A tunable, and looking at the pics of the tunings they are quite advanced :huh:
Any1 got any ideas, it has got sumthing to do with the exhaust system from the cylinders...
