Now how would I go about putting that in my item's configs. So I can look at the numbers and follow them up to see what category they fall under?

An other detail, the size of itemX.cfg files is limited. Not the number of items, but the physical size of the files.
So extra comments will often be removed and multi-spaces replaced by TABs.

Another solution is to hack the WLserver to become able to send bigger itemX.cfg files....
