Block ip from accessing server

B) I want to block an ip from getting into server i got a .cfg file named blocked.cfg i put my own ip address restarted the server and then try it and i logged in withouth problems so that means it aint working...any tips how to block it? :unsure:

maybe you can add this IP to your host file to redirect somewhere else ?

actually is there such thing in the first place? if hb int could ban hackers they might as well ban the ips.. right? means there's no such thing?

Nemeliom,
once someone connects to your ip they can get it. its not really worth packing/crypting your client unless you changed something you dont want known, but they can still find out what you changed. use a firewall to ban the ips, that will stop them from accessing your server.

i use sygate firewall pro 5.5, when ppl go any hgserver, it asks to me everytime if i want to allow, how can i do if im sleeping and i can be right here? he will wait until i wake up. and how to ban and ip accesing after i accepted him to play.
i only use this firewall for the fuckin install programs in porn sites

, there is sure another firewall better and easy to ban ips and everything, easy for hb hosting.

I do not think you even bothered to read the help files that come with sygate firewall. If you did you would know how to block an ip. so stop posting until you read the damn thing smart guy!
