Ok, ive read this before, first im supposed to use my routers adress that it assigns me, which is (192.168.2.2), i put that in the server files, and they connect, but when i run my client(it said i was supposed to use my real ip , which is 24.239.197.171), and then put that in client, i put that in client, run it, and it says (CONNECTINg.....FOR like 10000seconds), never connects...
i have a Dell TRUEmobile 8300 wireless router 4 port
ive heard im supposed to open ports 1000-7000
so in the router options i typed
address = 192.168.2.2 port type TCP ports to forward 1000-7000
(that didn't work with port forewarding)
tryed to created a DMZ
address = 192.168.2.2 create DMZ
(didnt work with dmz creating)
tryed to do a UPnP, (universal plug and play)
Enable UPnP = Yes
(still didn't work)
im connecting from behind a router and its driving me fucking insane becuase ppl are saying it CAN be DONE , but ive tried my best, my limited knowledge has run out, thats why i see the assitance of THE PRO's here at OUTPOST.
