I really need help.

im sorry if this sounds a lil noobish but i really need some help on this whole server creation thing... im new to it and i dont understand what to do... im pretty sure i have read almost every help thing on this site and im still pretty clueless... but if someone can help me make server i will really be in there debt... cause i really wanna do it and i havent fuond any other site but this one that is s deticated to servers... if you wanna help me or if you can my msn is funktastic9111@yahoo.com... pelase help me i really want to get into this whole server development thing cause it seems really neet... thank you if you do help me... and thanks for the hacks on this site they work on almost every hb i haev tryed...

the hacks work on almost all servers you tried?? that's sad.... anyhow i can help you if you want, but if you can't apply anything i teach/tell you. then you are on your own.

If all hacks work on most servers then why put one up as yours will be vuln too.

people should post a list of release server files, cuz alot files people have to put together becouse of there out of date / buggy. cuz it shard finding server files people posted long time ago in this forum

i plan on doing it but im barely even done.. i just started on redoing gate server and am planning on making, if possible, one login server combined to save opening 3 diff logs before/after hg. halfway done with the gate server and it's funny how much usless crap they coded in it. so it will be a long time before i get anything done... but when i reach the client/hg... everything is going to be redone differently. i know it's alot to tackle but i want to do it in my spare time. also know that hb is "dead" but that doesn't mean i shouldn't redo it all and change the pieces of the puzzle. on another note, i am doing this by myself too. so there is no outside help with it unless someone wants to contribute something that i could use as reference or if they know of a better way to do something. i am open to suggestions. call me crazy if you wanna, but i like c++ programming.

What useless crap is in gate? Gate handles monitors, servers, parties, and global messages. That's pretty much it.. Anyway, as far as making a list of server files, I wouldn't mind hosting them if anyone wants to lend a hand putting them together.

i didn't mean in the gate server.... sorry that i didn't clarify myself XD

hihi guys its the noob again... ok i have the server in testing... im useing th e4 comps in my house to test... so basicly its a lan based server so far... but i cant find much on how to code magic items... like earthshockwave into a devastator... if you can help in any way i really need it... my msn is in the first post i made... thanks guys...

why do you not care if anyone hacks on your server?? personally, i wouldn't allow that to happen.

ok peeps... scratch all this asking shit... if you can give me some sites i can go to to figure it out myself... i really dont like begging but i wanna learn and i kinda wanna teach myself... well please write back with some sites i can use to help me in further development of my server!!!!! i like this forum ppl help so im asking you now for your help... please!

yes i do...i want you to help me but i also want to teach myspelf... hard to explain... i do want help with creating a server but i want to learn some stuff by myself too... i dont just want everything handed to me like some ppl in life... but if anyone can give me some sites to use as refrence along with some input i will greatly appreciate it.... and charles i do care if ppl hack just not as much as others... i will later on inforce the no hack rule!!! but for now i just want a place where ppl can play hb and lvl and kill eachother... if they cheat then its thier loss for having to cheat... if they have to cheat in a game then they are loosers!!! but i mean i dont care if they do for now but if there is a way to keep them out then please tell... cause it would be better if ppl didnt do it...
