well i have kinda little problem...
i did all same that it says on hosting topic.. but the problem is when i put INTERNET <---- i can go in my game but other people cant.
LAN <-------- i can't go in game but other people can.

is there anyway i can do both... accept people say put WAN <--- dosent work in HBX files :unsure:

did u enable dmz in router cfgs make sure u oput it to ur ip.
aslo make sure u use external ip[ in client

In my file there is an another line:
game-server-list = 192.168.1.100

gateserver.cfg:
I have both lines, not sure it's mandatory:
game-server-list = external IP
game-server-list = 192.168.1.100

Router and forwarding:
You need to farward:
MainLogserver port: forward the port and next 2 ports (2848 to 2850 for you)
WoldLog port: just single port need to be forwarded: (2500 for you)
Gserver ports: 9000+ for you

So everythings seems OK there.
Now the important detail:

Nevermind nodody can tell that without testing, This information is not available on Router's documentation, and web sites. Your's seems to be a Linksys, good start. I can tell you that WAG54G and WAG354G are OK, and that an older brand (the one with a slot for an optional Wifi card) is not. The last BeWan is not compatible too.

snoopy your method should work... i did Step By Step what you said and no sucess :S Any Idea?

Port Forward << Ok
Filters << Off
Server Configs << Ok

Client with external ip cant connect to server.
Client with Internal ip Can go to character screen but not on game.

this really sucks no idea of how to fix it.

i can host Counter-Strike Server,Tibia,Mu etc... and play on it but no sucess with hb :S

any idea of how to fix it?

If you're not able to answer a "yes i'm sure" to that question, nobody will be able to help !

And note than, any experience with hosting other games is useless at ansering this question, because HB uses 3 different server types, and client connections are redirected from Main to Game, from game to world, etc . . . . .

im not sure... but i think the modem doesnt do it... My Modem is 3CP4144 3Com 812 Office Connect ADSL Router... i'll search more about this modem anyaways thanks ^^

umm snoopy guess i dont knwo id my router able to forward packets from LAN to LAN.. i have no idea how to check this is proly noob question but well thats why i am here..

i think there is one way you can help me.. to go on my computer thats the only way i guess...
