Hi guys, U know xmas is coming soon and parents are always giving presents so I tought why don't I upgrade my pc ?
But I need some advice, here are my current specs.

AMD 64 3200+ socket 754
Asus AK86L mainboard (socket 754 AGP8x - NO Pcie)
2x512 Apacer DDR 400 Mhz ram
200 GB Maxtor 7200 Rpm SATA
Gforce 5500 (256 MB RAM)

So as u can see my 3D card stinks to get a decent framerate on most games.
So I was thinking about the Gforce 7800 GTX.
But as my mainboard doesn't have pci-e I'm looking for a budget mainboard for socket 754 wich supports Pci-e.

here are some of I came up.

Asus K8N4-E Deluxe S754 nForce4 4X PCI-E DDR ATX - 95 €
Gigabyte K8NE S754 nForce4 -4X PCI-E ATX Bulk - 79 €
Abit NV8 S754 nVidia NF4-4X PCI-E DDR ATX - 86 €

So what's best , if u know any good mainboard wich isn't listed here please tell me.

then for the videocard.

I got these in mind

Asus nVidia GeForce EN7800GTX PCI-E 256Mb VIVO - 555 €
Asus nVidia GeForce EN7800GTX TOP PCI-E 256Mb VIVO - 599 €
Club3D nVidia GeForce 7800GT PCI-E 256Mb Dual DVI VIVO - 455€
Model CGNX-G786VDD
Club3D nVidia GeForce 7800GTX PCI-E 256Mb Dual DVI VIVO - 565 €
Model CGNX-X786VDD
Leadtek WinFast PX7800GTX TDH MyVIVO PCI-E 256Mb - 615 €
MSI nVidia GeForce NX7800GTX-VT2D256E PCI-E 256Mb VIVO - 555 €

-----------------------------------

Well I'm not going for SLI since I'm gonna buy a whole new computer in August anyways.

So tell me what should I pick ...... decisions.

(yes I know the Ram is a bit weak as well but I may sell my PSP to get some extra RAM)

Go for a XFX, and take a 512MB GTX, or a GT. The 256GTX is a real waste.
