i know i posted this is server setup but aaaa.. wasnt sure if it had to do with setup or source.... right now im thinking do more with source ;) so mabey you can help

im geting a random drop in my server like drops random items sometimes..

Need more info to help. Possibly a piece of code from part of the troubling function, or logs, or something more descriptive.. at least something. That's like saying "my computer is broken, need help" and leaving it at that. Need to provide more information.

Make sure you have'nt changed alot of item ID's or anything like that.

:) I remember getting this bug with some 2.24b sources...i think RageIluminati has the fix for this. :)

yeahh.. I have it.. somewhere on the DVD or CD under my bed... I don't deal anymore with this 2.24 source.. I don't remember anything about it anymore... and don't want to know about it... only thing I deal with.. are these ChinaHG's and SQLserver...

best way too fix it is note all your changes/addons and then start with a fresh copy of a source and add it all back in, take you about 6-7 hours, I done this about 2-3 times and always solves my problem.

Or hey, you could to the easy thing and comment all your changes the first time so you can know where you screwed up. Then just roll back a bit and pinpoint the problem. Debugging knowledge recommended. Also keep backups of working sources so you don't have to copy EVERYTHING over if you need to.

Yeah I thats a good idea I have'nt been doin.

And I highly recommend the backing up of working sources part.

The bug comes with the 2.24b released out there...

ya... aaa i do keep backups .. i mean i have lots of backups of everything lol ;).... but my HGservers been like this :(.... its the HGserver that DJwar or what ever his name is lol..... and it came with the drop bug :(.. i mean it has do with something in rare drop any way... cuz of it drops rarely.
