i've made a server and i maked all magics as manuals. How can i make monsters to drop them?

hmm i did it the noob way i guess you could say but it was only way i knew of....i just changed the numbers in the Item.cfg's....found out what the monsters drop and just changed the numbers around for instand Aba drops 50000 Gold Pocket - 742 and i wanted it to drop DarkElf - 618 so i just switched the numbers...but im sure theres prolly easier and diff way...but im a noob
