Change Hellclaw and Tigerworm drops?

i know there is a way, i want to make hellclaw drop ms40 (DragonStaff) and change some ring to another stuff i just want to know how how ibeen looking in all forums and i think this is the rigth one.......

you need to change the source, or change the item code of one of the items it drops, but dont change the item number, i dunno about the name

explain with more details will be better, tho i dont know wich source you talking about in my server files i dont have no game.cpp if thats what you talking about...is 3.51 files dont know but i dont have that.....how i am supposed to change source? :unsure:

Get the source, change it (with Visual Studio) and compile it.
As you dont have the latest source you can patch it (but you need a lot more knowledge).
So only thing that last is to change item number in configuration so instead of dropping one thing drops other thing.

that point i get it...but where to get the source? how to make it work cause my server is runing smoothly and i dont see no source, where to get the patch in case i need it....links plz...oh ya VisualStudio? link it i heard it but dont remember :rolleyes:

Open Item.cfg and Item3.cfg

Change
Item = 1 Dagger
in Item.cfg with
Item = 922 Dagger

and change
Item = 922 DragonStaff
in Item3.cfg with
Item = 1 DragonStaff

Now, when a monster should drop a dagger, instead he/she will drop a Dragon Staff
