EDIT: Also, what kind of line is burstable to 10gbps? Considering you'll never reach 1gbps bursts that's kind of an irrational number. Nono argue about datacenter server hosting as I used to own quite a few myself long ago and know much about them. Was hosted on a 16gbps datacenter. Btw: 100mbps is shit really. Yea, it's fast, but you don't really have 100mbps of transfer. It's close, but not quite.

10mbps isn't minimum. Apparently you know nothing about hb and how servers operate.

You still prove that you know nothing about a datacenter. Who the fuck is going to be able to receive 10gbps? Right. Point of it being burstable to anything over 5mbps? None. By the way, burstable means on a single connection. Is anyone going to use 10gbps in a single second while playing on your hb server? Hmm.. Don't think so. Removes any use of any burst possible.

Well, sorry to break the news to you, I do know more on the subject of dedicated hosting, and definately more about hb than you do. If anyone should quit anything, it's you should quit being so stupid. First you expect everyone to know that "4.0" = 4ghz, then you expect people to praise you because oh wow, you'll have a dedicated host that has features hb can't take advantage of (bursts), and now you expect everyone to think your so much smarter than everyone. Btw, you'll never reach more than 100 players on your server. Know how much bandwidth you need for 100 players? 1.5mbps. So much for your 100mbps burstable 10gbps (still impossible) server. Have fun.

And its on a single line through 20-30 different peoples server boxes so meaning sometimes he will be getting up too about 1gig speed and sometimes 100-200mb speed it just depends on how much the line is being used by those other 20-30 ppl so therefore its Burstable too a certain amount.

and yes this company or whatever is hosting his box has a 10gbs oc192 connection which generally costs about 10k a month.

You're a complete retard. That just proved it. Single line? No datacenter has a single line of 10gbps. It's usually all broken down into 1gbps lines to different providers. I'm sure he'll get 1gbps considering his line is fully capped at 100mbps. If you distribute out 10gbps between 30 people evenly, you'd barely get 333mbps so good luck on that theory. By the way, try 20k$ for OC192. You're 10k$ off.

100mbps dedicated server isn't expensive. At most 90$ per month. I had a few dual Xeon servers with about 2gb ram at 230$ per month before.

He DOESN'T have a top speed of 10gbps as he will NEVER acheive that. You can only have a top speed if you can actually reach it. If you have a car, is it's top speed 1000m/h? Just because it's a number doesn't mean it's possible.

Yes my car can have a top speed of 1000mph even if I may never reach it because its like in this situation, His car is on a track shared by 30 others so I CAN reach a top speed of 1000mph but does that mean I can with a track shared by many others? The posibility is low but its posible.
